Intro to Programming

Introduction to Programming through Interactive Worlds strives to give a basic understanding of programming elements to a diverse group of students.  While we do not delve deeply into any one specific discipline the class visits a variety of programming styles through the environment of Game Design.  Students start with text-based games using MUSH code and then move to 2D arcade style games with the GameMaker software client.  Finally, 3D learning environments are explored with SecondLife.
